Code Name: Rogue Lady
Location: Bartlett, IL (Somewhere in Chicagoland)
Gilda is the last and greatest genetic experiment to come out of the southern Indiana/Louisville, KY area. She’s 9 of 9 (the youngest) and by far the strangest one of her siblings.
Gilda’s first gaming experience happened at the tender young age of 12 when she innocently went over to a friend’s birthday party. A friend of the birthday girl’s family decided that it would be a fun idea to run a D&D one-shot with riddles for everyone to solve and prizes to win. She knew from that moment that this was her niche in life: to be a geek.
In the next ten years, she would find that she had a fascination for most things out of the ordinary. She found more games to play and discovered more people like herself. She eventually met Roger, the leader of the Rogue Judges. He introduced her to his latest version of Conquest of the StarLords and talked her into helping him with it. He told her that he would be going to GenCon and was completely taken by surprise when she asked to go with him. She was introduced to the Rogue Judges at GenCon Indy 2003 and decided to stay and run a few games. The rest….isn’t history, but it’s got an interesting bit with a purple fish in it which we won’t go into at the moment. She married Roger on October 15th, 2005 (with most of the Rogue Judges in attendance) and now lives in the Chicago area where she is a part-time domestic goddess, mother to all sorts of creatures, and defies all logic by simply existing.
